In cigarettes (100) comprising the catalyst-modified corrugated cigarette paper (140), the corrugations define axially-extending channels (150) that can run the length of a tobacco rod (110). The corrugations can increase the catalytic efficiency of catalyst particles (146) that are incorporated within the catalyst-modified corrugated cigarette paper wrapper (140).
