<p>A glass-making process which can give glass decreased in remaining seeds nearly without a refining agent. A process for making water-containing soda-lime glass, characterized by comprising the step of vacuum-deaerating molten glass under a pressure not higher than the seed growth initiation pressure Peq (kPa) represented by the following equation (1): Peq = -80.8 + 98.2 × [ß-OH] + 68.0 × [SO3] + 0.0617 × T ...(1) wherein [ß-OH] is the ß-OH value (mm-1) of glass; [SO3] is SO3 content of glass (based on the oxides and by mass %); and T is the temperature (°C) of molten glass.</p>
