<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a sound with a requested timbre as much as possible without requiring any recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: Hubs 10 to 40 are installed in rooms 1 to 4 to structure a star type LAN, and devices related to musical sound generation are connected to the hubs 10 to 40 respectively. On an internal network, a KE (keyboard) 14 is logically connected to an input side of a TG (sound source) 12, and an SP2 (speaker) 21 and an SP1 (speaker) 15 are logically connected to an output side of the TG (sound source) 12 to structure a musical sound generation system.
