PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a movement distance of a mouse to reduce a burden on a user. SOLUTION: A plurality of pointers including one selection state pointer and at least one non-selection state pointer are moved according to a movement instruction of the mouse with relative positions maintained. An operation instruction such as a click is enabled only to the selection state pointer. Directions to the respective pointers from a reference point for calculating the respective positions of the plurality of pointers are different. When a movement of the mouse in the same direction as a direction to a certain pointer from the reference point is instructed prescribed times, the pointer is changed to a selection state.
