摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aluminum foil for electrolytic capacitor electrode which is excellent in etching characteristics, can obtain high electrostatic capacitors, is excellent in folding strength and suppresses the degradation in yield. SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy sheet is composed of a clad material made of an aluminum alloy including 99.90% Al, and containing 5 to 70 ppm Fe, 5 to 70 ppm Si, and 5 to 150 ppm Cu, and consisting of the balance inevitable impurities as a skin material, composed of an Al-Mn system aluminum alloy containing 0.8 to 1.5% Mn as a core material, and having a foil thickness of≥50μm and a ratio of the sheet thickness of the core material of≤20% of the total sheet thickness. The alloy sheet is subjected to clad rolling by cold rolling and then, the rolling reduction of the first pass is defined as≥40% and the total sheet thickness of this time is defined as 2 to 10 mm.
