PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge of an inkjet printer which keeps the surface of components having an ink channel unit reformed and the adhesive strength and hydrophily improved, and to provide a method for manufacturing an ink cartridge of an inkjet printer. SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 100 is for an inkjet printer comprising at least one nozzles and at least one print heads 150 connected with an ink channel unit and comprises: one or more ink tanks 121 which store ink; one or more vacuum controlling elements 131 connected with ink tanks; and an ink channel unit 140 connected with an opposite side of one side of vacuum controlling elements connected with ink tanks and feeds ink from ink tanks, wherein the ink channel unit 140 is formed using members which have been surface treated by an ion assisted reaction.
