PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the size of a filter circuit in which hairpin line patterns are formed on a substrate and connected in multistage is increased because of the multistage connection of the hairpin line patterns and a large amount of attenuation in its stopband can not be ensured, though it is desired that the filter circuit may exhibit such electric characteristics that attenuation is small in its pass band and is large in its stopband and that it may be small-sized in a sending device, receiving device or a communication device using it. SOLUTION: Some of the hairpin line patterns which are connected in multistage are replaced by line patterns each one end of which is open and the other end of which is connected to ground.
