PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aspherical reflector mirror which is excellent in shape precision and can be manufactured by overcoming problems in mirror finishing, and also to provide its manufacturing method and an image display using this reflector mirror. SOLUTION: This reflector mirror 1 has a base 2 having an aspherical surface 21 obtained through cutting or grinding and having asperities exceeding 5nm in a mean average roughness Ra, a film 3 coated on this aspherical surface 21, and a reflector film 4 formed on this coated film 3. This method forms a reflector film 4 on the coated film 3 without mirror polishing the base 2 having an aspherical surface 21 with asperities exceeding 5nm in a mean average roughness Ra.
