摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aluminum-killed steel by which the nozzle clogging and the quality deterioration of molten steel developed with alumina clusters can surely be prevented. SOLUTION: When the aluminum-killed steel is produced by pouring and continuously casting the molten steel into a mold through a ladle and a tundish, after deoxidizing by adding Al into the molten steel, REM is added with the additional quantity in the range shown in the following formula (1): 0.025×(T.[O]+ΔO)<W<0.05×(T.[O]+ΔO). Wherein, W is the additional quantity (mass ppm) of REM; T.[O] is the total oxygen quantity (mass ppm) contained in the molten steel before adding REM andΔO is the predicted quantity (mass ppm) oxygen increased in the molten steel in the interval from after adding REM to the reaching to the tundish.
