摘要 Distracting clutter in ads may be reduced, while at the same time permitting various different ways for advertisement audience members to interact with and use ads. This may be done by (a) accepting telephone number information associated with an advertisement, (b) accepting a URL segment, (c) generating a new URL including the URL segment and the telephone number information, and (d) associating the new URL with the advertisement. The new URL might define a location of a document including marketing information, or a location of a document for facilitating on-line commerce. The telephone number information might be a telephone number or extension for a device or facility supporting telephone purchase orders. The ad, including the new URL, may be printed on an offline property.
