A system includes a display device (1) having no power source and an information display device (2) such as a radio terminal for transmitting display data and power to the display device (1). The display device (1) can be mechanically-detachably attached to the information display device (2). The device (1) has a display section (3) capable of continuing display even after power supply is cut off, a near-distance communication section (4) for receiving display data from outside, and a display control section (5) for the received data. The device (2) has a storage section (6) for storing display data and a communication section (7) for transmitting the display data to the device (1). For example, the device (2) further has a mechanical attachment/detachment section for mounting the device (1) on the device (2).
