摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst suitable for efficient and long stable manufacturing α, β-unsaturated ethers and a method of manufacturing α, β-unsaturated ethers using the catalyst.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for manufacturing α, β-unsaturated ethers comprises (A) 50-99.999 mass% of a sulfate and (B) 0.001-50 mass% of a binder having a maximum acid strength, H0, larger than +3.3, where H0is the Hammett acid strength. A method of manufacturing an α, β-unsaturated ether which pyrolyzes an acetal in the presence of the catalyst is also provided.
