<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge pressurized air and excess steam from an open hole 2a without any incorrect operation when heating foods. <P>SOLUTION: A heating container comprises: a container body 1 having at least a heat-resistance; and a cover body 2 for covering the container body. The hole 2a for discharging the pressurized air/excess steam is arranged on the cover body 2, and a silicone rubber valve 3 blocking the hole 2a is also provided. A projection 3a for blocking the hole 2a is formed on the tabular valve 3. The valve 3 provides a hinge section 3b so as to at least fold the valve, and a tonguelike support piece 3c is also arranged to ride astride on the hinge section 3b. When the valve 3 mounted on the cover body 2 is opened (is pulled up), the valve 3 stably maintains its open state supported by the tonguelike support piece 3c.
