摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition which has both of a high dielectric constant and a good capacity-temperature characteristic even if a dielectric layer is made thin; and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition contains a main component containing barium titanate, a fourth sub-component containing an oxide of R1 (R1 is at least one selected from rare earth elements having ionic radii of <108 pm at coordination number of 9), and a fifth sub-component containing an oxide of R2 (R2 is at least one selected from rare earth elements having ionic radii of 108-113 pm at coordination number of 9). The method for producing the dielectric ceramic composition includes a process for obtaining a reacted raw material by previously reacting a raw material of the main component and a portion of a raw material of the fourth sub-component and/or fifth sub-component and a process for adding the remaining portions of the raw materials of the fourth and fifth sub-components to the reacted raw material. In a finally obtained dielectric ceramic composition, the ratio M1/M2 of the molar number M1 of R1 to the molar number M2 of R2 is >4 and &le;100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
