<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent marks on a shaft fitted with an inner ring of a tapered roller bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The tapered roller bearing 10 includes a double row outer ring 12 having two raceways on the inner periphery, a pair of inner rings 14 having a raceway on the outer periphery, two rows of tapered rollers 16 interposed between the raceway of the outer ring 12 and the raceway of the inner ring 14, and cages 18 for holding the tapered rollers of each row. A metal coating treatment of a metal softer than that of the outer peripheral face of the shaft 20 fitted with the inner ring 14 is applied on the inner peripheral face of the inner ring 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
