<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of an elastic resin sheet capable of more shallowing the cavity of the welded part of the elastic resin sheet than before or eliminating the same, and a fixing method of the elastic resin sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An engine cover 21 equipped with "a fixing structure of an elastic resin sheet" has welding projections 25 formed thereto in a projected state and a nonwoven fabric 23S made of PET is welded to the leading end surface of each of the welding projections 25 under vibration. Since the welding projections 25 being the welding partners of the nonwoven fabric 23S made of PET are projected from the engine cover 21 to be easily molten, a heating time due to vibration becomes short and the melting amount of the nonwoven fabric 23S can be suppressed. By this constitution, the cavity of the welding part of the nonwoven fabric 23S made of PET can be more shallowed than before and many spaces are ensured between the fibers of the nonwoven fabric 23S even in the vicinity of the welded part to enhance sound-proofness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
