<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly mount a retainer on a lower panel. <P>SOLUTION: This retainer mounting structure 1 is furnished with the lower panel 10 arranged in the neighborhood of a knee part of an occupant and the retainer 20 having a surface member 21 and a side wall member 22 erected in an inclined state on the surface member 21 and on the inside of which a knee air bag is stored. The surface member 21 of the retainer 20 is mounted on a back surface 11 of the lower panel 10 by adhesion or welding. A bearing pressure difference reduction means reduces a difference between a bearing pressure corresponding to a contact portion 21c with which a pressing tool 30 to be pressed to the surface member 21 makes contact and a bearing pressure corresponding to a non-contact portion 21d with which the pressing tool 30 pressed to the surface member 21 does not make contact in bearing pressure between the surface member 21 of the retainer 20 and the back surface 11 of the lower panel 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
