<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a point management device for appropriately managing points for each of a plurality of business states or business types through a piece of point service card. <P>SOLUTION: A point service card PC stores point data in which store IDs, affiliated group IDs and points are correlated with one another. When an ECR 1 accumulates points when purchasing goods, the ECR 1 calculates the points to be applied to the point service card on the basis of a sales proceeds in a PLU file. After reading out the points in the point data including the store ID of its own store from the PC to calculate the points to be applied to the card, the ECR 1 updates the PC. In paying for goods by points, stores A and C belonging to one affiliated group add up the points of other stores in the affiliated group to which its own store is belonged to the pint of its own store, and pay a subtotal amount by the added up points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
