<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purge method and an apparatus for a tuyere of a waste melting furnace capable of securing stable operation and reducing the amount of insert gas used by preventing back fire in a non-steady state at the start of blowing gas and at the stop of blowing the gas in a triple-pipe structure tuyere and also preventing the clogging of the tuyere when the gas is not blown. <P>SOLUTION: In this purge method for a tuyere having a triple-pipe structure, the tuyere 1 of the waste melting furnace includes: an inner cylinder 2 for supplying combustible dust, air or oxygen enriched air; an intermediate cylinder 3 for supplying ignition fuel for combustible dust; and an outer cylinder 4 for supplying fuel burning oxygen for ignition with tips of the respective cylinders made conductive, before starting to blow combustible dust, air or oxygen enriched air, ignition fuel and oxygen for burning ignition fuel, the interiors of pipes 11, 20 for supplying ignition fuel and fuel burning oxygen for ignition are purged by inert gas, and when blowing is stopped, after the interiors of pipes 11, 20 for supplying ignition fuel and fuel burning oxygen for ignition are purged by inert gas, switching from inert gas to air is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
