<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incline a caliper by reaction force of a parking brake cable in a parking brake integrated type disk brake. <P>SOLUTION: The disk brake 100 includes brake pads arranged to oppose to friction slide surfaces of a disk rotor 18, the caliper 10 pressing the brake pads against the disk rotor, a mounting 12 supporting the caliper in such a manner that the same can move in a pressing direction, a parking brake unit 54 built in the caliper, and a brake cable 56 for operating the parking brake. At least a part of the brake cable 56 is stored in a casing 60. Since a bent section 60a of the casing 60 bears repulsion due to bend of the brake cable 56, the casing is formed out of a rigid member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
