<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content recording apparatus to avoid increase of fragments in a recording medium and decrease of the utilization efficiency of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A moving picture content and a still picture content to express a photographic world captured by an image sensor 14 are captured in parallel by a processing of a CPU 40. It is judged by the CPU 40 whether an unallocated capacities to be formed in a memory card 38 in a spreading manner are more than two or not, in relation to a capturing processing of the moving picture content and the still picture content. If the judged result is negative, the unallocated capacity formed in the memory card 38 is divided into two.
