<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve call quality concerning call sound quality and transmission delays in sound communication. <P>SOLUTION: A fluctuation absorbing buffer controller is a controller used for a fluctuation absorbing buffer that accumulates arrived packets. The fluctuation absorbing buffer controller includes a fluctuation measurement part for measuring fluctuations of the arrived packets, a determination part for determining whether the fluctuation of the packet is absorbable or not with a buffer accumulation amount of the fluctuation absorbing buffer, a decision part for deciding importance of the packet, and a control unit for executing reproduction processing or discard processing corresponding to the importance to a packet being a packet accumulated in the fluctuation absorbing buffer and unabsorbable with the buffer accumulation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
