<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite portable electronic device for maintaining the same processability as before in the processing by the contact communication system, and preventing wrong processing due to execution of an unauthorized instruction from outside, or unintended retries of a transaction processing instruction which have already been completed, in the processing by the non-contact communication system. <P>SOLUTION: The composite IC card, equipped with communication means of the contact communication system and the non-contact communication system counts the processing executed in accordance with instructions received from outside, determines whether the count value has exceeded the predetermined upper limit, temporarily disables the processings by the communication means of the corresponding communication method when it determines that the count value exceeds the upper limit, and responds to the outside that the current processing cannot be executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
