PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a function of overheating protection by precisely detecting temperature of a power assisting motor without using a temperature sensor. SOLUTION: A heating value computing part 101 finds an actual heating value from a difference between a heating value by an electric current supplied to a motor and a heat radiating value. The heat radiating value is found by a difference between current motor estimated temperature Td and circumferential temperature Tm. The heating value computing part 101 is accumulated and input to an accumulated value buffer 103. An accumulated value TS provided by adding initial temperature T0 to the accumulated value Td is input to a ratio map 105 of a target electric current value and a target electric current value upper limit map 108. Two kinds of the target electric current values corresponding to the heating value accumulated value representing motor temperature are found by the maps 105, 108, and one of them is selected and input to an electric current feed-back control part 93c. The electric current feed-back control part 93c controls a motor output part 93h so as to converge the motor supplying electric current to the target electric current value.
