PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rustproof lubricant for hose attachment capable of performing the attaching work of the hose with the joining part of the hose more smoothly and also effectively inhibiting the progress of gap corrosion over time, occurring at the joined part, and also a method for inhibiting the gap corrosion at the attached part of the hose by using the same. SOLUTION: This composition is characterized by containing 1 kind or a mixture of≥2 kinds selected from water, an alcohol, a glycol and a glycol ether as main components and also containing at least 1 kind of a rustproof agent in the main components.
