PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the drastic curtailment of a manufacturing cost and to enable recycling as well by making processing tanks of any shapes and any materials exhibit functions simply by throwing in and mounting of a submersible crushing water flow pump into the processing tank without requiring machining for the processing tank itself, and by mounting all of the function apparatus other than that on a top plate in the upper area of the processing tank. SOLUTION: The retort food bag underwater crushing by the self-crushing submersible pump is accomplished by installing a grinder submersible pump or the like having the self-crushing function into the processing tank of any shape including a cylindrical or polygonal shape, filling in-tank processing water 2 therein, and throwing the used retort food bags 11 and the organic matter thereinto. The warming of the in-tank processing water, the decomposing of the residual organic matter sticking to the bags, the cleaning of the in-tank processing water are achieved simultaneously by the underwater air diffusion and the pump water cooling. Energy saving and space saving are made possible. Volume reduction and odorless cleaning, and recycling by material fractionation at the time of throwing of wastes are possible.
