PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the selection of a radio channel currently used in another radio base station, in a radio base station for dynamically updating a radio channel. SOLUTION: This radio base station performs communication with a plurality of slave stations by using a selected radio channel. The radio base station is provided with a measurement section for measuring an error rate (transmission error rate) of a transmission frame and an error rate (reception error rate) of a reception frame, calculating a value by dividing the measured transmission error rate by the reception error rate, and comparing the calculated value with a predetermined value; and a channel setting section starts procedures for dynamically updating the selected radio channel if the calculation value exceeds the predetermined value, and changing the channel to a radio channel other than the selected radio channel.
