PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose portable electronic equipment or the like that can be surely placed on a cradle without sacrificing designability. SOLUTION: A mounting structure is used to fit the portable electronic equipment 1, and the cradle 50 having a placing part 53 onto which the portable electronic equipment 1 is placeable. In the mounting structure, stepped part 20 has a stepped face 20s reverse to one side-face of the portable electronic equipment 1, and is formed on the outer face 2e of the portable electronic equipment 1. The placing part 53 allows the stepped part 20 to be placed on it while having an engaging protrusion 56 engaged with the portable electronic equipment 1, at a position facing the stepped face 20s.
