PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing load-measuring device which can ask for a bearing load in engine main bearing of a diesel engine with a sufficient accuracy. SOLUTION: A crankshaft 2 is raised with a hydraulic jack 3 near the engine main bearing 9 of the diesel engine 1. Next, it is made to lower it gradually using a pressure reduction valve 8, the displacement of the crankshaft 2 near the engine main bearing 9 in meantime and near the adjoining engine main bearing 11 is measured by displacement gauges 4, 12 installed in the respective locations, respectively and it asks for the bearing load of the engine main bearing 9 by analyzing with the result of the measurement of an oil pressure gauge 7.
