PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle/rotational torque sensor, capable of surely detecting a rotation angle and rotary torque concerning the rotation angle/rotational torque sensor used for detection or the like of the rotation angle and the rotational torque of steering of an automobile. SOLUTION: The rotation angle and rotary torque sensor connects first and second rotation angle detection means 5, 6 and first and second rotational torque detection means 13, 14 to a control means 9; preventing erroneous data from being output to an electronic circuit 16 of a vehicle, by detecting the rotation angle of a rotating body 1 and the rotational torque of a second rotating body 11 from a rotating angle detection signal and a rotational torque detection signal by the control means 9 and determining that one of them is wrong, when data input to the control means 9 have extreme difference not, to output the data; and surely detecting the rotation angle and the rotational torque.
