PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an impact noise occurring by a plunger coming in contact with a core during operation in a solenoid valve including a housing having a plurality of oil ports, a spool for controlling opening of the oil ports and regulating the flow rate of an operating oil, an elastic means for urging the spool in one direction along its movement direction, the plunger reciprocating with the spool, and a magnetic circuit for applying magnetic force on the plunger. SOLUTION: An opening end on one side of a guide 14 includes a flat part 14b for abutting on the plunger formed by deforming a part of the guide 14 toward the inside, leaving a part for strokes of the plunger 12.
