PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent valve for drainage capable of being installed even in a small space and a space having small width. SOLUTION: This vent valve for drainage is provided with a connection pipe 22 connected with a vent pipe for drainage, a valve seat 24 having a seating face 24a inclined around a vent, and a valve element 25 seated on the seating face 24a when closing the valve. This vent valve for drainage has a substantially rectangular shape in plane view, and the connection pipe 22 and the vent are arranged in parallel in its longitudinal direction.
