PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening band capable of improving fastening force by a band member to ensure sealing property and achieving excellent workability. SOLUTION: A lever 13 is provided in an overlapping part 12 of the band member 11 to be bent like a ring, and the band member 11 to be bent when putting the lever 13 down is formed into a tapered shape which becomes thinner from a bent part 16 toward a tip of the overlapping part 12. A belt-like elastic member 15 is provided by stretching it over from one end part 11a side to the other end part 11b side of the band member in the vicinity of the overlapping part 12. When the lever 13 is put down, size of a clearance between an inner peripheral face of the lever 13 and an outer peripheral face of the band member 11 is reduced, and amount of levitation of the band member 11 is reduced. The elastic member 15 is nipped among both end parts of the band member 11 and the boots 20 to bury a part of levitation of the band member 11. Consequently, fastening force by the band member 11 is improved to ensure sealing property and improve workability of fastening work. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
