PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll fluid machine in which the deflection of a shaft is suppressed by increasing the cross sectional area of an eccentric shaft part by forming it in a columnar body with D-shaped cross section to increase the rigidity of the shaft. SOLUTION: The eccentric shaft part 7<SB>B</SB>is formed in the columnar body with the D-shaped cross section which is composed of an arcuate part with a radius R<SB>B</SB>around a position eccentric byΔr<SB>B</SB>from the axis P<SB>A</SB>of spindle in the eccentric direction and an eccentric shaft part slide surface 7D for connecting both ends of the arcuate part by the axis P<SB>A</SB>of the spindle and the surface parallel and the eccentric direction. A second spindle part 7C is formed in a columnar body with a columnar body with a D-shaped cross section which is composed of an arcuate part with a radius R<SB>C</SB>and a flat surface part 7E flush with the eccentric shaft part slide surface 7D. The arcuate parts of the eccentric shaft part 7B and the second shaft part 7C are formed to be Rs-ts-r≤R<SB>B</SB>≤Rs-ts, (Rs-ts)sin(π/4)-r<R<SB>C</SB><R<SB>B</SB>-Δr<SB>B</SB>where the slider outer radius is R<SB>S</SB>, the slider minimum wall thickness is t<SB>S</SB>, and the swing radius of the swing scroll is r.
