<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming apparatus 1 capable of efficiently producing electric energy. <P>SOLUTION: The reforming apparatus 1 comprises a reforming part 2 for producing a reformed fuel by a reforming reaction of a raw material for reforming, a heating part 3 for heating the reforming part 2 to be appropriate for the reforming reaction, and a thermoelectric converter part 4 having a high temperature side 40 and a low temperature side 42 for converting thermal energy to electric energy.
