<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell module recovering methanol contained in waste liquid and enhancing fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell module is equipped with a fuel cell stack 11 using methanol as fuel; an exhaust passage part 60 through which waste liquid from the fuel cell stack 11 flows; and a recovery part 50 having a network member installed in the exhaust passage part 60 and whose surface being formed a plurality of pores is water-repellent treated, and recovering methanol contained in the waste liquid flowing through the exhaust passage part 60. The surface having a plurality of pores of the porous member is water-repellent treated. By water repellent treatment, the porous member limits penetration of water flowing through the exhaust passage part 60 and permits penetration of methanol vapor.
