<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a viewer to easily confirm an input source during switching between the multiview display and single-picture display, and to lighten the burden of an operation to select an input source on the viewer and prevents the viewer from selecting a wrong input image during switching between the multiview display and single-picture display, in a multiview display device, having single-picture display and multiview display. <P>SOLUTION: A display device, which is capable of performing the simultaneous multiview display of a plurality of different images from one and the same display screen to a plurality of display directions and capable of performing the single-picture display of one image from one and the same display screen to a display direction, includes an identification information display means of performing, in at least one display direction, identification information display of identification information on a plurality of input images before or after switching between a state of the multiview display of the plurality of input images and a state of the single-picture display of one input image during the switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
