IMAGING DEVICE AND ASSEMBLING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can be produced with a small number of components at low cost. SOLUTION: The imaging device in which an imaging part 51 provided with a lens and an image pickup device is built in a casing and a part of the imaging part 51 is exposed on a first surface of the casing, is provided with a support frame 40 located on a second surface, which is a back side of the first surface of the casing. The imaging part 51 is supported by the support frame 40 and the support frame 40 is fixed to a third surface adjacent to the second surface. With this structure a covering or double-sided tape which have been necessary are not required so that a number of these components can be reduced. In addition, processes such as applying the double-sided tape and mounting the covering on a front face panel are no longer necessary. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
