PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat accumulation material which is wider in utilizable temperature range than a conventional material, accordingly, can supply a high temperature water, also is large in latent heat amount, and can be suitably used for a carbon dioxide (CO<SB>2</SB>) heat pump domestic hot water supplier which is currently popular. SOLUTION: The latent heat accumulation material is constituted of a so-called eutectic salt comprising an ammonium alum (NH<SB>4</SB>Al(SO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>2</SB>12H<SB>2</SB>O) and ammonium chloride (NH<SB>4</SB>Cl).
