PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-in connector suitable for easy and sure assembly. SOLUTION: This plug connection adapter is used for connecting first and second plug-in connector elements 11 and 12 to each other, and is provided with one or more contact pins 17 and header shrouds 16a and 16b. The contact pin 17 is provided, at both its ends, with contacting blades or slots 21a and 21b for contact for establishing contact between the plug-in connector elements 11 and 12. The header shrouds 16a and 16b are mounted at least one end 15a or 15b of the plug connection adapter 10, and guide the contact pins 17 when the plug-in connector elements 11 and 12 are brought into contact with each other.
