PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a shutter having advantages capable of instantaneously cutting off electric connection between connectors (having rapid disconnection capability). SOLUTION: This connector is provided with: a first connector 3 having a first electrode 65, a first insulator 67 supporting the first electrode, a first fitting case 50 housing them therein, and a first shutter 60 closing the opening of the case in non-connection to prevent external exposure of the first electrode; and a second connector 1 having a second electrode 20 providing electric connection by contacting the first electrode in connection, a second insulator 21 supporting the second electrode, a second fitting case 10 housing them therein and fitted to the first fitting case, and a second shutter 20 for closing the opening of the case in non-connection to prevent external exposure of the second electrode. The connector is used for providing electric connection by bringing the first electrode 65 into contact with the second electrode 20, and abutting contact between the electrodes are rapidly disconnected by elastic force of a spring energization means 19 in releasing the connection between both the connectors.
