PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information browsing system which enables a user to take desired browsing configurations and to confirm whether or not browsing is being performed according to the browsing configurations. SOLUTION: This information browsing system S1 is provided with a server device 11 equipped with a data information DB110 in which predetermined data information is stored; a first client terminal 12 capable of designating the browser of the data information; and a second client terminal 13 being a terminal designated as the browser of the data information by the first client terminal 12, wherein they are mutually connected through the Internet. When the second client terminal 13 browses a data information DB110, the browsing history data are recorded in a browsing history DB115. The first client terminal 12 checks the browsing history data to confirm whether or not the data information is being browsed by the second client terminal 13 designated by the first client terminal 12 itself.
