PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for use in a total heat exchange type ventilator capable of improving mass-productivity, reducing manufacturing cost, preventing the leakage of an air flow, and preventing the deterioration of heat exchange efficiency. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger 1a, a heat transfer plate 4, a first blocking rib 6a for holding a space up to the heat transfer plate 4, a second spacing rib 6aa, a first blocking rib 7a for blocking the leakage of an air flow and a second blocking rib 7aa are integrally molded of resin to form a unit element 2a, the unit elements 2a are stacked in multi-layers to form a ventilation passage 5 between the heat transfer plates 4, and a primary air flow A and a secondary air flow B are circulated through the ventilation passage 5 to exchange heat through the heat transfer plates 4.
