PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NC machine tool that can achieve a series of processing of various grinding processing or polishing processing simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy by changing the posture of a tool or replacing the tool with another one according to the processing part to a work or a processing condition, such as rough processing, medium finishing processing, grinding finishing processing and polishing processing without re-chucking the work. SOLUTION: In this NC machine tool, a horizontal unit 5 having a grinding wheel with a shaft 32 and a Y-axis unit 4 having a tool unit 6 that can be changed in a vertical or inclined shaft condition are placed on a shaft slide 2. When the tool unit 6 is in the vertical shaft condition, the holder base 16 of the Y-axis unit 4 is set in parallel with the X-axis direction.
