PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a risk of loss of constituent members and to provide a grounding body having good durability while ensuring a reduction in weight in a brush cutter. SOLUTION: The grounding body 1 is composed of a hollow body 2 made of a resin and a mounting plate 3 made of a metal, integrated with the upper part of the body 2 and mounted on a driving shaft 23 of the brush cutter 20. The body 2 has a covering part 9 for covering the undersurface of a rotating blade 26. A recessed part 11 opened to the lower part where the lower end of the driving shaft 23 is housed is formed in the central part of the grounding part brought into sliding contact with the ground surface of the covering part 9. The downward opening edge of the recessed part 11 is an abrasion-resistant part 17 having a thicker wall than that of the covering part 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
