METHOD OF DRIVING EL DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inspecting an EL display device for improving display quality.

SOLUTION: Each pixel has a driving transistor and an EL element 15 formed. Pixels are arranged in a matrix and connected to source signal lines 18. When an arbitrary pixel row is selected and a constant current is made to flow to the source signal line 18, the constant current flows from a driving transistor to the source signal line 18. The potential of the source signal line 18 is as high as the gate terminal potential of the driving transistor. While at least one of a plurality of source signal lines is selected and the constant current is made to flow to the selected source signal line, the potential of the source signal line is output, and then the potential at the gate terminal of the driving transistor can be obtained.
