<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a key driving device for driving each key of a keyboard instrument and to drive the key by sufficiently strong force and high speed even in a power saving state. <P>SOLUTION: For the key driving device 1 for driving a key 7 oscillatably supported by a frame, one end 11a in the face direction of a high molecular film 11 provided with a high molecular film having a dielectric property and composed of an elastically deformable high molecular material and a pair of electrodes arranged on both the surfaces of the high molecular film is fixed on the frame, the other end 11b is fixed so as to be moved interlocking with the oscillation of the key, and the key 7 is oscillated on the basis of extension/contraction in the face direction of the high molecular film which is generated in accordance with the switching of a voltage application state between the pair of electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
