<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance of a covering layer, in turn to improve non-seizure performance, in a sliding member constituted by forming the covering layer by applying resin paint on a base material. <P>SOLUTION: The resin paint mixed with resin, a solvent and a solid lubricant, is applied to the base material. After drying, the dried resin paint is pressurized by press working. After that, the covering layer is formed by baking. Thus, apparent density of the covering layer is set to 90% or more of a theoretical value. The covering layer becomes a porous shape when the solvent is volatilized by drying, and increases in the apparent density by being compressed by pressurizing processing. Material strength increases in response to this density, and the abrasion resistance is improved, and furthermore, the non-seizure performance is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
