GASEOUS CARBON DIOXIDE SEPARATOR AND GASEOUS CARBON DIOXIDE SEPARATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaseous carbon dioxide separator capable of separating carbon dioxide from off-gases containing hydrogen and the carbon dioxide with high purity.

SOLUTION: The gaseous carbon dioxide separator is equipped with a means for bringing a gaseous mixture containing the carbon dioxide etc., into contact with an absorption liquid containing alkanol amine to make the carbon dioxide be absorbed in the absorption liquid, a means of transmitting the absorption liquid absorbing the carbon dioxide through a thin film of a hollow membrane to diffuse the carbon dioxide from the absorption liquid, a means for fractionating the carbon dioxide from the mixture composed of the absorption liquid diffusing the carbon dioxide and a means of bringing the gas failing to be absorbed in the first absorption liquid into contact with the second absorption liquid containing the alkanol amine to make the carbon dioxide be absorbed into the second absorption liquid, and a means for heating the second absorption liquid absorbing the carbon dioxide to diffuse the carbon dioxide from the second absorption liquid. The intra-system pressure from the downstream side of the hollow membrane in the diffusing means to the fractionating means is below the atmospheric pressure.
