<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating aerator which enables easy maintenance and inspection, and short construction period, and requires low cost, and a sewage treatment plant equipped with the agitating aerator. <P>SOLUTION: The agitating aerator comprises an impeller 21, a main shaft 22 connected to the impeller 21, and a motor 25 for rotating and driving the main shaft 22 though a speed reducer 24. By rotating the impeller 21 disposed in liquid to be treated in a sewage storage tank 10, the liquid to be treated in the tank is agitated. A part or the whole of the motor 25 and speed reducer 24 are set above the upper part of the sewage storage tank 10. The impeller 21 is equipped with a main plate. A plurality of blades extending from the center toward the outer periphery are attached to the surface of the main plate, and holes are formed in the main plate to install a plurality of back blades extending from the center toward the outer periphery on the back surface of the main plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
